Professor Judy Broady-Preston is Professor Emerita, Aberystwyth University, and Visiting Professorial Fellow UCL Qatar. Until October 2018 she was Director, Institute of Professional Development (IPD), Aberystwyth University and a member of the University Executive.
Her research interests include (1) impact, value and performance measurement; (2) leadership strategies, organisational learning and culture; integrated flexible learning and professional development. She is the author of 100+ research papers, Editor-in-Chief of the Emerald journal, Global Knowledge, Memory and Communication, European editor JoEMLS, and editorial board member of seven international journals and numerous international conferences.
She is the recipient of 7 major research prizes and numerous research grants, in addition to a 2010 Higher Education Academy National Teaching Award for an “Outstanding Contribution to Information and Computer Science”.
Current external professional activities include President Elect, CILIP UK (2019-) and UK Role Model and Mentor, Leadership Foundation for Higher Education, Aurora Women in Leadership Programme.
